Lily O’Brien’s was founded in 1992 by Mary Ann O’Brien with a saucepan, wooden spoon and genuine passion for chocolate.  At the time her only member of staff was her baby daughter Lily, after whom she named the company. Lily O’Brien’s is now one of Ireland most recognised global brands, and has the reputation for being one of the most exciting and innovative brands in the luxury chocolate market.
Using its own unique recipe of milk, dark and white chocolate created using the highest quality cocoa beans, and combined with the finest of Irish ingredients, Lily O’Brien’s chocolate delivers with every delicious mouthful.  Renowned for its innovative approach to recipe development, as well as its uniquely style-driven approach to packaging design, the company produces over 180 varieties of chocolates in its custom built 32,000 sq foot chocolate factory in Newbridge, Co. Kildare at a rate of between 55 and 60 tonnes of chocolates per week.  Exporting to more than ten markets worldwide including the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and Denmark, Lily O’Brien’s chocolates are available in some of the world’s leading retail outlets.  The company is also one of the world’s leading suppliers to the airline industry with over 17 million branded chocolates being offered on the first and business class services of 22 airlines including Continental, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.
